EXHIBITION SPACE FOR PERFORMANCE PIECES AND HAPPENINGS
The screening room will also double as space to house happenings and performances by the many women who are working in this area in Southern California

SPACE FOR THE ARCHIVES OF WOMEN ARTISTS OF PAST AND PRESENT
We will have art historical lectures for the art community by the various feminist art historians in the area. Many of these women are associated with the leading universities.
We will duplicate the Los Angeles Registry of Woman Artists and house it in WOMANSPACE so that it can be seen by representatives of the museums and galleries around the country who are interested in the work of the women in the area. At present the only copy of the registry is at the California Institute of the Arts.

SPACE TO PRODUCE THE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Since WOMANSPACE will be a pioneer effort in the history, or "heritage" if you will, of women artists to identify themselves on the highest level possible, it is important that we keep a careful documentation of all of our exhibitions and our activities.
