Like its namesake (created for the 1893 Chicago Exposition), the Woman's Building is run by a board of "Lady Managers," each representing one of the autonomous groups within its walls.

The Feminist Studio Workshop offers a full-time program under the direction of designer Sheila de Bretteville, artist Judy Chicago, and art historian Arlene Raven. FSW is developing new educational concepts in the arts by establishing an art community that utilizes, as raw materials, the lives, feelings, ideas, and needs of women.

Grandview One and Two is a cooperative gallery whose members participate in one yearly group show and two one-woman shows every three years.

Womanspace, the first West Coast women's art gallery and performance center, has been dissolved and the functions it served as a broad membership gallery are being taken over by the recently formed Wom-
