Colonel:  In obedience to instructions from the Ass't Comr rooms are now being prepared for the reception of such persons as may need temporary shelter. 

Two small & one medium sized stoves — with fourteen (14) lengths of pipe & Six (6) elbows. Also one length 10 In. pipe are needed.

The rooms will be in readiness as soon as these articles can be furnished — and two Coal Hods.

Permission is requested to employ Caroline Grice (Freedwoman) as Cook at ten ($10 00) per month.
