Kendall Green Jan 30th 67

Genl' C. H. Howard

Genl'
I have the honor to ask that four cords (4 cords) of wood, now in my care at Kendall Green, be appropriated to the use of my office, the use of the guard, & of the night school, sabb' school, & chapel, for the month of January. And also the same amount for the same purposes, for the month of Febuary 1867.

The reason for this will be found in the accompanying communication, from Maj Brown

I have used the full amount of four cords for the above purposes during the present month, by verbal order of Col' Wm Beebe L. Supt' having no other authority, & the same amount will be necessary for the month of Febuary.

Very Respectfully
