The Secretary of War having directed that the building known as the "Clerks Barracks" on the corner of "22" & "I," Streets in this city be transferred to this Bureau, and the Quartermaster General, U.S.A, having directed the Chief Quartermaster of the Dept. of Washington to cause the same to be transferred to the proper officer of the Bureau, Bvt. Maj. J.M. Brown, 
A Q M, will immediately communicate with Bvt Brig. Genl. M.J. Luddington in relation to the transfer of said property, and in the transfer thereof will give proper receipts therefor.
