General:
I respectfully request that a room may be partitioned off in Barrack No. 2, corner of 17th and I streets (next to the one now occupied as Teacher's Home), for the occupation of an additional teacher of the New York Branch Commission, who has been appointed to teach sewing in the Schools of that Branch in this city, and for whom there are not accommodations in the building now occupied.
