Bvt. Maj. J. M. Brown, A.Q.M. will purchase of James Sheehy, for the use of this Bureau for the purpose of reference, the work known as the "Rebellion Record." Upon the delivery of the ten (10) volumes of said work now published, bound in half Morocco, Maj. Brown will issue 
his certified voucher therefor at the rate of ($6 50/100) Six dollars and fifty cents per volume, and will pay the same out of funds of the Bureau in his hands.

The property thus purchased will be taken up and accounted for by Major Brown
