Shipped, in good order and well-conditioned, by Bvt Maj Genl Rufus Ingalls Ass't Quartermaster Gen'l U.S Army, on board the good Steamer called the "Leo" whereof is master, for this present voyage  now lying in the Port of New - York, and bound for Savannah Ga.
To say:

the property of the United States, being marked and numbered as in the margin, and to be delivered in the like good order and well-conditioned, at the aforesaid Port of Savannah Ga (the dangers of the seas and fire only excepted,) unto Bvt Lt Col. C A Reynolds A Q M or to his assigns, [[strikethrough]] shippers [[/strikethrough]] paying freight for the same as per margin.

In witness whereof, the master of the said vessel hath affirmed to [[strikethrough]] three [[/strikethrough]] 4 Bills of Lading, all of this tenor and date; one of which Bills being accomplished, the others to stand void.
