Dear Sir

I regret having given you the trouble of sending for the duplicate bills of extra work done by JS Stevens. I found them this afternoon laid away very carefully in my desk with a note on them that they were to be forwarded to you. Please accept my acknowledgement of two checks from you dated month Nov 22 1867, and amounting in the aggregate to some nine hundred and sixty six ($966) Dollars. The remainder the draft will come in a few days.

Truly yours
Henry M Wilson
