Dear Billy:

You certainly are doing business at the old stand on Pearl Street these days. I hope the rents are paid and the houses let for long enough so that we will believe that there IS a Santa Claus again.

As for Henry -- I just don't get the drift. You personally, have got to keep close tabs on that situation. We can't continue to let Henry pile up debt in that place because what it amounts to is that we are holding the bag for his special chance taking. True enough that the rent will have to go yp is repeal is a fact and the place is worth more. Still, you can't say much until things break. Keep close tabs says I.

Mother pulled a fast one didn't she? Only way to travel. She didn't p t on her hat at our house until half an hour before scheduled departure at Newark, and the fact that she was home in Fram, after a visit in Camb. mxxxxxxxx in such quick time, makes it appear that the airplane is good for something.

Wish i could do something about my ears. They hiss and ring fierce and , as I wrotein a letter to mother just now, I'm all butgoing nuts. Damn airplanes and this company for letting me get into such astate!

The payment of that Marsh not by Phillips doesn't seem to slacken. Hope it keeps up. Whatever happened to the maker of that note? Is he still kicking around or is Phillips just being a decent guy?

As to abdelmaseh -- OK Wht about Pissitelli in same manner? Can do?

All well here except Pete with a cold -- he catches em no matter if wrapped in celephane. Hope you all up in that part of the world are OK. Any more brother from Archie?

As to the lawn at Pear street -- oh hell! You're telling me what a lout that Phil is? Say, if he doesn't wake up one of these days he'll come a fine cropper. His mother and sisters and grandmother ought to give him a rise in the tail -- it is what he needs most.

Best to you,

your brtoher [[brother]]
