Dear Billy:

If you are taking route 25 part way down you are passing, or have passed within 3 miles of this field and if you go by Perth Amboy you are only six miles away. Hope you can come by the house for a stay of any length you wish--right on your way.......

Damned if I know the answer to live-and-let-live mortgage. The only principle is that of get ing back as much of our capital as we can. If the endorser is any good I'd think a note would be OK. A third mortgage is little if any better in any choice. BUT don't buy any more real estate for the Trust. If Henry wants to do that on his own account let him shoulder the Trust mortgage and take his own chances. What we want is liquidation, not more grief over a long period.

That trip to Detroit was to have been a good change for me along with the work I had to do but I had lumbago before I left and the weak back turned into a severe strain hen I landed the ship at the Ford Airport. So I'm wearing a corset now and have to take it easy for a while. The ears are still ringing like HELL but that I can take as long as I don't lose any more of my precious hearing......

Hope you are all over yourlast experience in hospital by n now.

Mother wrote me to see a couple of people of Detroit nut with the factory work I had to supervise and the trips to hospital I never got time.

By the looks of things it will be some time before we can wind up the Trust. Yet I'm looking forward to just that. If anybody wants to buy real estate or the banks will ever uncork and take over our mortgages if we can't get them to be paid off--then the job will be finished provided we have sufficient funds to take care if mother. As to the tax problem - that is certainly a real problem. I'm damned disgusted with these United States for the past three years and the way the politicians pull the wool over our eyes and make us like it is the worst part of it all. All in all our best bet is to get rid of our worries by getting out from under if buyers ever do come into the market again.

Hope we'll be seeing you, or at least hear from you. Don't work this Fri or Sat so will be home most likely. All ok

Best

Your brother
