Now, you make returns of the Trust on salmon colored Fiduciary blank Form 1041 I suppose, and in it you show payments to beneficiaries as well as maiking out forms 1096 and 1099 etc. Then how do you keep separate the stuff that is really being liuidated as time goes on, thus disappearing from the list of distributions to be made, and the items of income upon which I suppose the Trust would pay a tax unless the depreciation etc offsets any tax. In any event we receipt for the payment to mother and payment to her is actually made, accoring to the agreement signed Nov 1927, from INCOME. Then dont WE ave to pay a tax on that item? I've been putting it down as nontaxable distribution of capital assets but this agent now wants to see a copy of the agreement and says that I'm all wet if the income is being used and not the principal. The whole point with me is that I'D rather we four paid then mother. Also that the Trust shouldn't make returns and pay taxes and then we four go ahead and pay again on the same money per calendar year. It is swell to ball myself up trying to figure it out. I cant figure it out so will you please write me just what the method is so that the Trust returns and our four individual oneswill jibe and how, if possible no tax is payable as I have all along thought??????? The agent also wanting to see the Agreement I have no final copy and will you therefore send me one on the Trust itdelf and the payment to mother as well. This bird also said that mother and Lill ought to take the head of a family for tax purposes if they live together so that someone gets the benefit of the deductions..... It is Greek and a pain in the neck to me but I'm tired of working hours and hours getting nowhere on these damned Government check ups--every year I have to go and explain this and that for years past even though I alwys tried t get things down honestly If it keeps I'llbe plain NUTS or bolshevicki. Sorry if this takes your time but I know of no other way to straighten myself(and all of us perhaps) on this question. With I could get to Fram for a spell but it doesn't seem to click.
