Dear Raymond:

Enclosed check to amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for account of liquidation, account payment of account of note by Henry to amount of $2000.00. Sixteen hundred is being deposited today, four hundred to be deposited on Wednesday next. Has there is ample funds in checking account, have issued checks to cover full amount for liquidation. $500.00 issued to Henry goes back in the account also, $107.00 for account of Lilly.

We are going to loose our tenant at the big house about September 1st. Mr. Smeltz. is of the opinion he can let same to a satisfactory tenent for about $100.00 per. Have given sales price at $22,000. subject to agreement by all. What say you? Others think if we could get the taxed valuation of $16000. we would be lucky. Mr. Smeltz. purchased the Sarah White. Estate on Salem End Road, and will have to spend about $4500.00 for improvements.

Am forwarding usual $24.00 to Uncles in Canada. Balance is now $519.61 in Framingham, less than $6.00 in Canada.

Have received Home Loan questioneare for account of Galvin. Mortgage of $6250.00: We receive out interest promptly on this, but, its more liquidation if it should go through: Wish it was Mc Cann. instead.

Enclose copy of assets to be returned on that damned Corporation Tax. Should save about $40.00 on this when completed. Have made one trip to Federal office, but, will have to make one more, at which time must have copies of all Income Tax returnes made from February 10, , 1928.

Mother seems to be in pretty good health, but, am of opinion she is too active.

My $500.00 is going out in payment of coal and taxes.
