their work is of high quality. Her is a comparison of prices for just printing the paper and envelopes. This San Antonio house will give me Hammermill bond paper whi ch is as good as anything on the market. The envelopes to be of a cheaper grade, but a bond just the same, and one that I buy for the squadron:-

Sutherland Ellis Amer. Stat. CO, S.A.
1000 print.sheets $8.75 $16.00 $6.10
5000 print.sheets $31.00 $45.25 $17.50
1000 env. $12.50 $6.40
5000 env. $52.75 $21.20

Just cast your eye over that comparison and then tell me to go ahead and place an order, by return mail. I verily believe these San Antonio people (American Stionery Co Soledad St.) are running on the 1914 list prices. I don't care through.
I am not so strong for cuts at this time when we are trying to keep overhead down, and simply suggest something of the following order, printed, of course:

     top of sheet

                         BROOKS, BANKS & Smith CORP.
                         Aircraft and Accessories
                         FRAMINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS
                           U.S.A.
A.R.Brooks Pres.
H.F.Banks, Vice Pres.
C.O.Smith, Treas.

As for cuts, I can have an aeroplane drawn up in any style and a single zine etching plate made for less tha ten dollars at one company. And if we want any engravings of a high class I have the dope all ready on a other place where they do excellent work and I'm sure I can get a small aeroplane xxx die for embossel work for around $25.00. At all events I can beat the prices you offered. Shall I go ahead as I have outlined? I am against putting cuts at the bottom of the page because it takes up unecessary space and looks ungainly.

Thanks for the good wishes pertaining to the Dallas trip which I received inyour latest letter. For Your information I'll tell you that I had a narrow squeak at Austin and barely made a field ,and at that almost cracked on landing in same. Caused by battery giving out and Delco generator burned out. Hot dog! Good trip though, at that. And I did get the ship safely to Kelly Field.

Regarding Lubys' pay. Ask him outright what he would like to have-the cash or the stock and a small amount of cash. It is usual in such cases to give stock instead of paying out money. I am in favor of giving him a share of stxock and a small check or two shares of stock and nothngelse at this time. I think he'd be better satisfied with the former.
