AERO FLIGHTS BY NEW COMPANY
Incorporation Announced by Air-o-grams Dropped
AVRO PLANE IS USED
Lieuts, Brooks and Banks Fly Over Town Today
Brooks, Banks & Smith announced their incorporation this morning by flying over the town in an Avro airplane owned by the International Aircraft Corporation of Boston. From the plane the officers of the local aircraft company dropped air-o-grams, in which they state that they are prepared to close contracts for passenger carrying, aerial photography, aerial advertising, Industrial Scientific and special flights of all kinds.
One of the air-o-grams is marked and signed by the local company which entitles the finder to one free airplane ride on the first machine purchased by the Brooks, Banks & Smith Corporation.
Flights are now being booked for May, or as soon as their first machine is delivered.
Plans for the organization of the company were made last year by Captain A. R. Brooks, Ace; Lieutenant Harland F. Banks and Lieutenant C. Oren Smith. The organization is now practically completed and the plans for the coming year ready. The concern is capitalized for $100,000. divided into shares of $100 each.
