to begin with. We suggest that if we do not the Jenny and find that we are prosperous enough to buy an Avro or a JN H6 in two orthree weeks we ought to be able to sell the Jenny for the purchase price or a price that would bring us a little profit for the transaction.

We feel that sooner or later we will have to thing of salaries, but are staving it off as long as possible. We feel that it would not be a good policy to pay large salaries to begin with, but a basis of ordinary weekly stipend with an added percentage of the business done during the week, is better. For instance we might take a salary of $25.00 per week, and 5% for each of the officers cover-
ing receipts of the operations. We could not afford a 50 or 75 dollar salary whether any flying is done or not, but we feel that a living wage ought to be be paid whether flying is done or not, and when operations are being conducted 5% of the business done might be added. If this sounds reasonable to you we might go ahead and make it a part of our by-laws, and have it also apply to you as soon as you join us actively. If you have any other ideas on the subject let us know.

They expect a big time here on American Day, May 1st and we hope to do a land office business from the Muster Field, using an Avro with three seats.

We are suggesting thru the news that all aviators and mechanics in the town and vicinity hand their names to us, and a registry be kept, from which later on a Aero Club might be formed. We plan this about the time you return.
