We might put on a little banquet for the purpose. We would appreciate having a date as to when you expect to get home, that is, as soon as you know definitely your-self
The army selecting this place as its headquarters seems to have put quite a boom on the subject of aviation, and we look forward to big things happening in the future. All we have got to do is to keep our shirts on, and build up solidly, and conduct the proper sort of organization, and work. Banks say to tell you that we expect a large electric bill this month--- open nights until 10.
The props haven't arrived yet, but when they do we will put them on sale and advertise a bit to see what happens.
We made an inspection of the Muster Field today, and it looked great. Near the Junction there is an old store, apparently empty. We think that if it could be obtained and fitted up by some enterprising fellow it ought to make money this summer selling drinks and Ice cream to the crowds. A good tea house could do wonders out there this summer catering to the motorists who are sure to come from miles around to see the planes, especially in view of the Army having several on tap.
We are anxious to keep in the good graces of Colonel Brennan, and have you any suggestions as to how to handle him?
