Everyone seems to have been unfortunate up here this summer. Lieut. Groah killed, and poor Mrs. Long. I hope the remaining pilots will cut out all stunts near the ground. It is said that Groah tried a verticle banks fifty feet from the ground with his engine throttled down and carrying two passengers. Wills crashed both machines, or rather Kullberg and Watkins the pilots finished them off. The pilot for the American Aerial followed suit, and the two Marshall boys, recently starting in Worcester have had two crashes.

Our Morale is'nt particularly high, and we cannot see our way clear in any line of action, but we are still hoping that that silver lining will show up before many weeks. If not we shall have to dissolve but there is still a postmortem kick left.

Will kindest regards, and trusting that you are getting along nicely in the wilds of Texas, we are,
