Captain A. R. Brooks,
San Antonio, Texas,

Dear Brooks;

At a conference with Mr. Huffman, now sole owner of the International Aircraft Corporation, he made us the following proposition which we feel inclined to accept, after consultation with your proxy, Bill.

In view of the fact that now is the time to act and since we have not yet secured enough money to take a plane, he states that he is willing to let us use on of his Avros, pay expenses, furnish mechanics and fuel, if we operate one plane per Banks and send the writer on in advance of a tour of New England, as publicity agent. As we understand it tonight all expenses are to be paid and we are to receive 25% of the gross income of the plane we operate. Then as soon as we have enough money to actually purchase a plane we will either strike out for ourselves or carry on with them, but paying our own expenses and pocketing the proceeds in an entirety.

What do you think of this proposition?

Since writing you last Mrs. Long has opened up to the extent of one share and your brother Bill likewise. Mr. F. E. Brooks, has'nt the money to spare.

Valuing the motor car at 650 we have assets of approximately 1600.00 at the present time. We have been paying ourselves a salary of 20 dollars a week for about three weeks. The Milford contract is in our safe they having paid us 10% deposit on the 30 minute non-stop flight for $100.

The Wills gang has actually left this part of the country, and it is safe in saying that they made little more than their expenses.
