Captain A.R.Brooks,
San Antonio,Texas,
Dear Brooke;
              The company owes you an apology for negligence in writing. Here it is.
                                        We feel that a crisis is on in the affairs of the company. It is now a question of securing at least one thousand dollars by July 1st, or it cannot be done. We are taking a dozen or more lending prospects in hand whipping them in line, and saking them to either say yes or no and how much they will invest. We have asked your dad to give us a definite word by next week. The enclosed carbon explains it. Mrs.Long is sending us the amount necessary oorall one share,which isn't what we expected of her,but it all helps.
                                      The price of the Avrc has dropped to $4,000, which is about as low as can be hoped for f.O.B.Weston, altho they are selling some in the crates at N.Y for three thousand.
