Captain A.R. Brooks,
San Antonio, Texas,

Dear Brooks;

Received your last two letters for which accept thanks.

There is nothing new to report except that the weather seems to be breaking, and we are still good on the 25% proposition. How long it holds out without cancellation by the International we don't know. Money seems to be as tight as ever, altho we are making plans to put on a selling campaign. However, we are still with the ship, and if we float long enough and use enough corks we should make it.

We are getting the car fixed up, and probably will sell her. Cost us two shares and fifty dollars. We were offered $350 yesterday without tires for the bus. It seems to have a good Cadillac motor in it, and the body is in fine condition.

If Banks hops over here early today we have it fixed up with Mayall to take some aerial photos and possibly fill Dennison's order.

The Wills crowd is still in Framingham, and it looks as if they intended to camp here. We are trying to help this July 4th meet along in an official way, and have written Mr. Driggs accordingly. Wish you could be here for it, but if you feel you ought to hang on in the Service awhile longer you know best. We will go to it as hard as possible and get the concern on a paying basis as soon as possible.

Cheerio,

Sincerely,

B & S
