Dear Nikie:

"Patience is a virtue" - which at times gets its reward, and here it is! I could not send it to you for Christmas as I had hoped, but why not take it as a belated special Christmas gift?

My congratulations anew on your Russian or Venetian Palazzo - thinking it over, as long as you have a room the size of Versailles, why not have the bed of an estrade too, in cause you would wish to receive in Roman fashion.

With kind regards,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
