The price of the Lehman picture was to be $700.00 but those fine Jewish daughters of Mr Lehman managed to pay only $600 - which was a damned nasty trick if you ask me. Payments were received as follows. $100 - during Feb or March - I haven't the exact date. Maria cashed the check herself without showing it to me. 100 - March 25 1933 100 - March 27 1933 100 April 29 1933 200 May 3 1933 If you can do so without embarassment I would suggest that you go after them for the remaining $100. = When y make out the statement please either send the original to me - or a copy. It doesn't matter which. I have a complete list of all pictures painted in this county together with amounts received. So if there is any question in your mind about details please let me know & I'll try to straighten things out. Please pardon this scrawly letter. I am writing it after hours & all the stenogs have gone. Toujours Hank Harris
