Mrs. Hugh Dillman F°2

I had hoped to see Horace here in Paris, on his return from Vichy, but unfortunately, it did not materialize.

Now, regarding Saint Leonards, I would greatly appreciate if you would let me know if you are looking for any furnishings in particular, as I am going around here in Paris a great deal, and could keep my eyes open for certain items that might be of use to you, and could have same ready to show to you at your return from Vichy.

By the bye, Paris is getting very quiet, and people are leaving daily. I myself have nothing in particular to-do, except that I await the arrival of two of my clients early in August, and nothing would give me greater pleasure than to run down to Vichy and pay you a little visit and keep you company, were I sure it would be agreeable to you, disregarding completely that a little Vichy water and some rest would do me good.

If you want to get in touch with me, you can always reach me here, or at the Hotel Astoria, where I am staying.

I trust these lines will find you well, and looking forward to hearing from you, I am, with many good wishes and kind regards,

Always faithfully,

Mrs Hugh Dillman
