A very fine Louis XVth. porcelain clock, resting on a finely chased ormolu base simulating vine, with Sèvres porcelain flowers. Standing at the left of the clock is a K'ang Hsi porcelain figure in colored enamels, of Shou-Lao, the god of Longevity, and under the clock is a similar figure of an attendant sprite. The clock contains the movement signed "Godin à Paris". The clock is fitted with original tooled leather case.

Former collection of the Margherita, the late Dowager Queen of Italy, at the Castle Stupinigi in Turin.
