Mrs. High Dillman 12 Lake Shore Road Grosse Pointe, Michigan November 29th, 1938 Dear Mr. Waegen :-- Your letter came yesterday and I am sorry that since we are just in the midst of closing the big house and Mrs. Dillman is in Ford Hospital for several weeks - just for rest and nerve cure - I am too involved at present to be able to make any plans what-so-ever. I am getting the staff off to Palm Beach Saturday and Mrs. Dillman will follow as soon as her treatments stop. I will remain here probably until the 23rd - when I leave for West Point. I spend Christmas there - all of us together and then Colburn, Frank and Bill come back here on the 26th and I leave that same day for Palm Beach so you can imagine how tied up I am. If there seems to be possible chance between then and now - I will wire you, but I really fear the chance is very slim. I am really terribly tired and nervous now there seems so much to be done that I wish I were twenty people instead of one stupid one. I will however , do my very best and hope it will work out somehow . As Always, my best wishes, [[Signed]] Marian Eddy Standish [[\Signed]] Marian Eddy Standish
