MRS HUGH DILLMAN
12 LAKE SHORE ROAD
GROSSE POINTE, MICHIGAN May 10th ,1939

Dear Hans :--

Forgive my dictating this to Marian , I am not really up to much since I came north ,as I arrived with a horrid cold which I caught at White Sulphur and I cannot seem to throw it off .

I was so glad to hear from you and when I arrive in New York will try to see you . Our plans for the summer are , of course, still unsettled and we wont know for a little whether we are sailing or staying here .

Hugh DOES seem better , but must be very careful for some time and I feel needs more examinations and checkups on his general condition as well as his eye .

I am leaving here in a few days to go south for little Delphine's graduation at [[strikethrough]]Fermana[[/strikethrough]] Fermata . It doesnt seem possible that she is old enough to be finishing there .

My best regards to you and will try to call you as soon as I reach New York ,

Affectionately Yours ,
