Valley east of Arl Gird Dagh, Altitude 1950 M. According to JSTOR Global Plants, Jan B. Gillett (1911-1995) was based in Iraq after WWII and his collections contributed to Kew's Flora of Iraq. I haven't located the locality of Arl Gird Dagh, but can say with 99.9% surety that this collection was made in Iraq. 2.
