Understand then,

Why we don't understand these things sometimes it is hard to explain - but we can't change them and we no doubt would bungle the job if it was given to us to do over.

If I don't quit this you'll begin to think I am foolish too -

I wrote Geo while on the train coming from NY on Monday telling him about trip from your house about with Hood - my evening in NY getting away the next am etc etc. He didn't mention that letter when he wrote his mother + I wonder if he read it at Key pool about Tuesday.
Hood called last Monday or Tuesday - had lunch with us and a nice visit. We expected him one night to dinner but presume that young lady coaxed him away. Guess will forgive her if she did.
[[Mrs M?]] asked Hood to write Geo about the situation.
