Dear Hattie,

Three or four of your letters (sep 11-14-17 as I remember them) are at the house and as none since that. I wonder if Geo. has given your present address. [[?]] & I left her the 12th for a [[?]] trio but I was delayed in Colo. & just ret'd. [[?]]. ret'd yesterday.

Geo. left the day before we did. I am going to Akron, Ohio to interview officer in charge of aviation there - He phoned me from downtown the night he left & promised to let me hear from him at once if he was to remain. Not a word but I'm afraid he's sick - can't [[?]] drop me a card if you have his address please - Grace ([[?]]) went to Colo. for the first time.  She has never wanted to go, but she did really need to get away for some change to [?] going to bed.  I think has really been beneficial - More next time as I find
