Dear Hattie -
Going through a pile of bills and letters, I came across your letter which apparently I had never answered, so here goes.

In May I went to Greece and the Greek Islands with a friend from Garden city - or rather, who used to live here - it was a lovely trip - but strenuous - all walking & climbing but very interesting - lots of history re-lived and saw much beauty.
