Calendar for the Month
July, 1931

4th-Independence Day celebration, including flag raising, contests, baseball game, tennis tournament, children's parade, fireworks and dance.

6th-Board of Governors meeting at Community Club.

Note: Most of the community activities have been abandoned until September, no further meetings being planned by the Florence Crittenton Circle, the Child Study Group, the Dramatic Group, the Parent-Teacher Association or the Ladies' Association of Metropolitan Memorial Church. Members of the Wesley Heights Boy Scout troop will continue to meet during the summer months, when the Scouts will carry out their plans for a number of hiking and camping parties.
