For the first time, there were two women in the Contest, the entrants being Mrs. Ralph S. Barnaby of Washington D.C. and Mrs. Russell Holderman of LeRoy, New York. Both made their "C" test licenses and several other very interesting flights.

These events staged during intervals between soaring flights attracted much favorable attention. The results are as follows:
