[[image]] Contessa Maria Fede Caproni Armani, Director of Capriol Aeronautical Museums in Rome and Varese, Italy, recently stopped by the recently opened Cradle of Aviation Museum in Mitchel Field. Contessa Caproni and General Guiseppi Pesce (on her left) are currently visiting other Air and Space Museums throughout the United States. Countessa Caproni was one of the leading aviation pioneers in Europe. On the Contessa's right is Andy Yelaney, Assistant Faciliaties Supervisor and next to the General is George C. Dade, Director of the Cradle of Aviation Museum. Operated by the Museum Division of the Nassau County Department of Recreation and Parks, the facility is located in Hanger #3 at Mitchel Filed in Garden City.
