Saturday Night. Dear Hattea, Raining huge gobs. First releif [[relief]] [[strikethough]] in really hot weather [[\strikethrough]] we have had for nearly two weeks. Carolina can't be much warmer than it has been here 100 [[degrees symbol]] in the shade Plenty warm I calls it. And nights unbearable too. Weighed 189 lbs a week ago bet I dropped 20 lbs [[Looks?]] like we can sleep tonight. Of course you're interested in the weather. If so, a complete report can be found in the U.S. Meteorological Report for June. At any rate the temperature here has been very salubrious - a great sufficiency. [[?]] the advice as to tissue paper wearing apparrel [[apparel]] when visiting the tropics. Was going to consult my tailor this evening as to [[making?]] an ice lined suit for south pole [[?ation]] but it rained & is yet [[?]] dont like to get wet so perhaps I'll just have to let it go and wear
