structor of Government Avia-
tion School at Waco, Tex.

George E. Weaver
   George E. Weaver, one of the
first Chicago boys to take up flying,
has been appointed government
aviation instructor at Rich field,
Waco, Tex. He is 22 years old,
a graduate of Parker High school,
and a son of Charles G. Weaver,
auditor passenger traffic Chicago,
Rock Island and Pacific railroad.
Weaver began building airplanes in
1911. He became interested in air-
boats in 1914, but soon changed
from the boat to the land type of
machine and has since special-
ized in that line.
