Garden City, N.Y., Sept. 22--Direct word of the progress of the Stinson monoplane Royal Windsor, dropped from the air by the flyers themselves, was recieved today by the Rogers Air Line.

One message was from Stratford, Ont., and the other from Bay City, Mich. The Royal Windsor passed near Bay City at 10:30 last night.

C. A. Duke Schiller, pilot, and his mechanic, Eddie Bohn, were provided with weighted manila envelopes before the start. The envelopes directed the finder to take [cutoff]

Waco Planes to be used in new air mail service

The Embry-Riddle company of Cincinnati, distributors for the Waco plane, has been awarded the contract by the federal government to carry the air mail between Chicago and Cincinnati by way of Indianapolis. The service is expected to begin by December 15.

Waco planes equipped with Wright-Whirlwind motors, will be used in the service. Three planes will be in constant service with two in reserve.

Judge Markey also granted a divorce to the defendant, upon cross petition, in the case of Frank Stein against Anna Stein, and gave her the custody of the child, with the proviso that the plaintiff shall visit it each Sunday afternoon and pay $5 weekly for its support.
