I got a letter from Dolores today. She seems to know that she is getting something out of her courses now and enjoys them more.

I gather that you are not going to be in "WHO'S WHO IN THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST" in the next edition. The man's diction is confusing enough to be misleading, as is probably the purpose. On what does he base your claim to a place in his compilation?

Arius was condemned as a heretic by Athanasius by his interpretation of the word "Logus" in which he said that while Christ had a logus, he was not the logus which was an incarnation of the son of God but an intermediary being of incomplete divinity --- I am loggy with loguses.

Elaine Eystein that Irene mentioned as having graduated from her high school and gone to Radcliffe passed the English test. I am still wondering if she is in our class--the teacher never calls the roll.

Speaking of English, I have been assigned to read a selection from some work of literature next Monday for criticism; I chose one of Hugh Walpole's short stories--don't know which one yet. Another girl has to criticise it--Kay Boardman.

I was reinforced by $2.00 from Grandma, but I have only $1.85 now and dues to pay--for the school paper, class dues, etc. amounting to $5.75.

Got to dash to Bio. now, so--

Love,

Doris
