North Pole, May 3, 1934

Dear Doris:

It is so long since I had a letter from you that I was afraid you had forgotten all about me. Santa Claus and I have been very busy lately. The weather man tells us that is [[it]] is going to be a cold winter again next year, and we have been making sleds and skates and scarves and ear-muffs day after day. We are pretty well caught up on that now and can stop to make some real toys- horses and little red cars and houses and elevators and airplanes and all such things. I am very sorry that we have no mice to send you just now. We had an order last week for two hundred white mice for the king of the Fiji Islands and it took all the mice we had. He has a hundred wives and two hundred children and there was only enough mice to give each child one. He asked for three for each child, so you see he will be badly disappointed. I will try to catch a baby seal for you if you can promise a nice big tank to keep him in and lots of fresh fish for him.

Best wishes from me and Santa and Pluto.

Your friend,

Micky Mouse
