Maj Gen O. O. Howard —

Dear Sir.
The Colfax Industrial Mission are about commencing their work for the present winter and would be greatly obliged to the Commissioner of the Bureau if fuel could be furnished them as heretofore —

Also any material on hand for the clothing of poor children would be thankfully received as the Industrial School commences tomorrow. Our place of work is still at Wisewell Barrack, and Mr Kimball will take charge of the fuel —

Very respectfully yours
J. W. Alvord
Sec. Colfax Mission
