In accordance with instructions from the Commissioner Bureau R F & A. Lands  of date Nov. 16/68. Rev. Dr. Turney is hereby authorized to take possession of the School building on 19th Street near "R." Street, and occupy the same until further orders, on condition that the same be used for educational purposes only, including the education of Refugees and Freedmen.

Dr. Turney is also granted the use temporarily of the Chapel on "J." Street near 23d Street, to be used as a School for Freedmen.
