Sir,
I have the honor to apply for permission to purchase from the Bureau R. F. and A. L., lumber for the purpose of building a church on Lot 3, Section 3 Barry Farm, for the use of the society of the "African Methodist Episcopal" church, residing at Barry Farm, and to request that the necessary lumber be delivered from time to time as the money to pay for the same shall be found in hand for that purpose.

Size of house to be 32 feet long by 30 ft. wide and 12 feet high.
