Sir:  Yours of June 19th 1869 to Wm. Syphax Esq, Prest. of the Board of Trustees for Colored Schools for the Dist of Col. was duly received and referred to me.

In answer I have to inform you that the School Building on "East" Street Georgetown is standing on [[?]] Holmed's Addition to Georgetown School Building on E. street South and Ninth street west stands on subdivision lots numbered  13, 14, 15, and 16 in Square numbered (412) four hundred and twelve; School Building on M street north between 16th & 17th streets west stands on subdivision lots 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 in Square numbered one hundred and eighty-two (182).

The following are the names of the trustees, Wm. Syphax, Alfred Jones and Albert G. Hall
