Dear Doris:

I enclose my last paper - just tuck it away somewhere, so it won't be lost as I have only 10 or 12 reprints after sending them to John D Sherman Jr who is paying for them!

Glad you enjoyed Oklahoma and think it quite a luxury! Hope you will have a good Jolly-up too. Hope you get your recompense from Louise's mother soon. Take good care of her typewriter and not do it any hurt. Dad had mine given a going over (for 4.50) and it is in fine shape again.

Koen must be hankering to get back to the land of plenty and is wise enough to get into army quarters to eat well this winter.

I have a letter from Robt. Beals saying he is inviting you to the Nov. 8 game. He is going to the one this Sat with a party of his friends too. You had better ask him and the girls to supper at your dorm afterwards if they have time, - they may not. Anyhow I hope they don't have such a time getting home
