Minutes of the May 21, 1971 Meeting

The meeting began with a financial report by the treasurer who said that there was roughly $175.00 in the bank.

Gerald then brought Jeff up to date on "Durbar" which was held on May 22, 1971 to raise funds for the Du Sable Museum. Gerald consented to check into the possibilities of selling prints to motels in the city. He also consented to speak with Barbara Sizemore to see if prints could be financed through the Board of Education. Carolyn said that she would talk to some Black supervisors to see what were the possibilities for getting prints approved.
