"What an interesting conversation:" we just looked at each other & laughed [[strikethrough]] for five minutes [[/strikethrough]] no Jean about to introduce us, just a slender copy of Tegore [[Tagore]] to read together. Jolly helped. Then when Jane asked if we wanted her to get us anything at corner we sprung to the notion of going ourselves... & I called up the house twice to have my signed-out time extended as we rambled longer. We'll are each other again, tho' both are overwhelmed with work, I'm sure. Such fun. Now a job to write to John! and keep up Bill! Well, life. I can now concentrate very well, was going into ecstacies last night over Richards' previously hard to grasp book, over the "Tempest", the Bible. Things can be so meaningful when you are free [[strikethrough]] ly [[/strikethrough]], balanced to enjoy them.

Love,
Doris
