The oil portrait, Miss Mildred Lee by S. Seymour Thomas which was offered by the artist.

The oil painting, Great Western by William Marsh which was offered by Mrs. Alfred Bornmann.

The oil portrait of Col. William Shakespeare King by George Catlin, offered by Daniel Packard King and Allene Packard King through   Mrs. Harry Lazelle King.

The oil portrait, Townsend Bradley Martin, by Abbott H. Thayer, N.A., offered by Mrs. Grosvenor Backus.

The oil painting, Street Shrine by Jerome Myers, N.A., a purchase of the Ranger Fund.

Three items of Bohemian glass offered by Mrs. John E. Lodge.

A collection of 50 miniatures by American and Foreign artists offered by Mrs. Henry L. Milmore.

On motion, the recommendations were approved.

The Commission also voted to recommend to the Board of Regents the re-election for the usual four year period of the following members whose terms expired in 1950:

John Taylor Arms
Gilmore D. Clarke

and to recommend the following in place of William T. Aldrich and Gifford Beal who have resigned because they are now unable to attend meetings:

Lawrence Grant White
Andrew Wyeth

The Secretary announced that officers of the Commission for the ensuing year had been elected as follows:

Vice-Chairman: Robert Woods Bliss
Secretary: Alexander Wetmore
