My Dear Sir.

Your favor of the 13th with enclosures as stated is recd.  I herewith return [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] the Vouchers signed — the dates you will please fill in — I also enclose my sight dft on N. O Pillsbury Esq. NY for $403.01 which is the amt. that will be due Capt Landie on delivery of his cargo, & you will be kind enough to settle with him, as I presume he will expect the amount there & will probably need it.   When you pay him please let him rect. the enclosed a/c & return the same to me.  I will arrange with the master of the vessel I am now loading to receive his freight here if you prefer it.  In case of failure to detain any part of the cargo, of course the vessel is [[?not]] [[?suitable]] to freight on what is not delivered.
