Stevenson's list:
1. Orbit map overlays to show:
ocean currents
ocean temperature
ocean upwellings
(he'll also use these overlaid on orbit maps
in his presentations and training books)

2. define and denote scales: both timescales of
ocean features, and size scales of 1. ocean features and 2. photos (airplane shots versus orbit shots
versus drawings)

3. check through files for a set of orbit photos
with and without glitter

4. get movies made (through Navy) of an orbital
sequence first through the Gulf of Mexico and second along
the California coast
-> give him info to know what speed to run
them at

5. develop first cut at "encyclopedia"

6. think about 1. what aspects of features are
important
2. how to describe those features
(we need a vocabulary....descriptive,
not technical)
