EMC at CIR: 1. What is location of S-band quads and hemis' 2. what is resulting field (v/m) at: D+C panel MCRV shoulder 3. transients? More answers for Stevenson: (Dave Brooks; Ron Weitenhagan) 1. Binoculars: the inventory (available for flight) includes 7x35(for PLB obs) +10x40 (for Earth obs) the 10x40 were eliminated from STS-1 in a weight scrub. The 7x35 are still on board; both are still manifested for STS-2. Code: "n x m" -> n = magnification, m = a value of focal length which translates somehow into field of view (not sure how yet) 2 VTR: yes, you [underline]can[/underline] record color on the VTR. Although the signal gets picked off at mon 2, it's at the input, + bldg 8 can reconstruct color (it won't be as good as downlinked, but not bad) 3. CRT camera: It's a polaroid, with the focal distance + exposure time fixed. The "barrel" can be taken off, but the long exposure makes it useless for Earth obs (hand-held)
